Erin Hill (from Saskatoon)

With several Saskatchewan Country Music award nominations, and countless performances under her belt, Erin is back in the studio with Bart McKay at Bart McKay Productions, Saskatoon where she now calls home. 2020 will see the release of new material from Erin. The album will be written entirely by Hill and shows the depth and maturity of this artist.

Sabrina Demyen (from Regina)

Singing from a young age, Sabrina has honed her live show in places from coffee shops to Country Thunder Saskatchewan, with regular shows around Saskatchewan. With a musical maturity and passion for her art, Sabrina was crowned the winner of the 2017 CKRM Proudly Saskatchewan Showcase, also winning the “Spirit of Saskatchewan Songwriting Award.” With a sound reminiscent of Dolly Parton crossed with Little Big Town, and the attitude of Gretchen Wilson, watch for Sabrina on tour.

Stick Graft (from Fort Qu'Appelle, Regina)

Stick Graft is the compositional and performance fusing of Chapman Stick artist Brian Baggett (Fort Qu’Appelle) and flautist, singer Marie-Veronique Borque (Regina).This pairing, formed in January 2019, offers a unique instrumental combination of wind and amplified strings with an uncategorized style leaning towards jazz and improvisation.

Full of emotion, carried by a velvet voice, velours is a singer continuously writing and performing aAlternative pop/blues style music that connects with others on an empathetic level. Her desire to understand and explore feeling through music resonates with her audience.

Eileen Laverty (from Saskatoon)

Eileen Laverty charms all ages with her soulful voice and heartfelt lyrics. Her unique brand of folk music has been featured on television and film, and she has toured with a diverse range of acclaimed artists, including Kenny Rogers, John McDermott, Tom Cochrane, and the Saskatoon Symphony Orchestra. Eileen has released three CDs and several singles to date. She is currently working on new music for release in 2020.

Shantaia (from Spiritwood)

Shantaia is a country singer/songwriter. With her powerful vocals, Shantaia’s voice, much like her name, is unforgettable. Shantaia has opened for names such as Kane Brown, Chris Lane, Emerson Drive, Charlie Major, Ryan Hurd and Cold Creek County. The 2019 Sask Country Music Association's Emerging Artist of the Year released a new single January 3/2020 “I Wish You Would” which has over 140,000 streams on Spotify and is available on all social media platforms. Her debut EP is set for release in April 2020.

Last Birds (from North Portal)

Last Birds is a Folk-Americana duo consisting of the husband/wife songwriting team, Lindsay Arnold and Mike Davis. Last Birds focuses on close-knit vocal harmonies and interwoven acoustic guitars. Keeping instrumentation minimal, their songs harken to the early days of country folk music whilst exploring dilemmas of the modern world.

Bex (from Saskatoon)

Bex's style of mixing hip hop influenced production and soulful R&B vocals sets a lush vibe that captivates. Bex has a penchant for using her lyricism to explore deep thoughts and feelings. Her self produced debut EP 'Arrhythmia', which was released on Valentine's Day 2017, was the beginning of an exploration into self-discovery utilizing a never-ending passion for music. She released her second EP 'This Isn't Me' on Halloween 2019.

Eli Barsi (from Moosomin)

Eli Barsi is a traditional-minded artist and diverse entertainer, musician, songwriter, producer & award winner. She has written and recorded a large body of work, performed full time internationally, and celebrated independent success on USA, Canadian & European radio. Her performances include a great mix of well-crafted originals & tasty standards in the styles of Western, bluegrass, gospel, country & Canadiana folk.

éemi (from Saskatoon)

éemi (pronounced em-ee) is a bilingual singer-songwriter. The Fransaskois musician sets herself apart with her rich voice, minimalist lyricism and electro-folk tone. Her lyrics are poetic and dark with a playful side, which allows her to test the boundaries of dark humour. She’s a shot of whiskey chased with honey.

Annie MacLeod (from Moose Jaw)

Annie MacLeod is a Moose Jaw singer/songwriter whose soulful voice and emotional songs stop people right in their tracks. Though primarily a folk singer, Annie has been playing with country, rockabilly and rock, and feels that no genre should remain untouched.

Karissa Hoffart (from Weyburn)

Karissa Hoffart is an emerging country singer/songwriter from Southern Saskatchewan. She has performed multiple times on Telemiracle and enjoys sharing her talent. Her songs encourage women to realize their worth and to follow their dreams. She wants all women to realize that they are never alone and the hard times will improve. 

Valerie Raye (from Regina)

Valerie Raye combines country, blues, rock, and folk, with soulful and vulnerable lyricism to achieve a unique sound that is heavily autobiographical. She has performed hundreds of shows across Canada, the United States, and Europe, bringing her gritty style of alternative roots music to fans of blue collar storytelling, while also being acknowledged for her capabilities on the guitar by industry professionals, trade magazines, and brand endorsements.

Toria Summerfield (from Saskatoon)

A singer-songwriter influenced by Amy Winehouse, Patsy Cline and Lana Del Rey, Toria Summerfield’s music merges confessional lyrics and melancholic themes with a lo-fi, alternative R&B sound.

Eliza Doyle (from Swift Current)

Bright, feisty and fierce, this banjo playin’ troubadour of exceptional talent and vision delivers a lively show that goes beyond the stage with her spontaneous and contagious energy. Eliza Doyle is a JUNO- (with The Dead South) and international award-winning artist who can be described as sweet as honey and raw as hide. She continues to work with under-served and remote communities, developing music programming that will help combat the mental health crisis in our province, which led to an Industry Achievement Saskatchewan Music Award Nomination in 2019.

Katelyn Lehner (from Saskatoon)

Katelyn Lehner is one of the newest voices on the Canadian country music scene. From the heart of the province, her music can be described as sweet, yet powerful. Katelyn has just finished recording her brand-new debut album produced by Johnny Sinclair and Leslie Stanwyck (of The Pursuit of Happiness and Universal Honey fame). Her new album is set to be released in spring 2020. Her music is modern like Maren, crisp like Kelsea, and powerful like Carrie.

Cass Maffenbeier (from Flaxcombe)

Cass Maffenbeier is 16 years old and has been involved in music since age 6. She is a self-taught acoustic guitarist, avid singer-songwriter, and also plays the piano and slide trombone in her school band. She enjoys travelling the Southwest with her fellow musicians. In her spare time she competes at high school rodeos across Saskatchewan, and trains horses and ponies. She is working on her debut album.

Joelle Fuller (from Regina)

Delivered with powerful lyrics and colourful melodies, Joelle utilizes her signature rich harmonies, weaving alt rhythms to accentuate meaning and invoke a visceral experience in the listener. Her album, "Travelling Witness" (April 2019) fuses soul, rock, and reggae into her folk roots, expressing her desire for a more just world and equality for all, sharing the light that comes from overcoming adversity.

Katie Morgan (from Saltcoats)

"Saskatchewan's Next Big Star Winner", 17 year old Katie Morgan has played shows across Western Canada, including a well-received headlining performance at The Grand Slam of Curling. Her distinctive and powerful voice, paired with her high-energy, dynamic stage performances, are quickly gaining the attention of the Canadian music industry and fans alike.

Shayla Souliere (from Regina)

Since 2013, Shayla Souliere has released multiple singles, completed a degree in Music Business and Technology at Boston’s Berklee College of Music, brokered endorsement deals with numerous lifestyle, audio and fashion brands, and accumulated over 120,000 followers across her social media accounts. She continues to travel regularly to write and record, and, in winter 2019, attended Canada’s Music Incubator’s "AE West Program" in Calgary. Shayla was recently one of 100 artists from all across Canada who has made it through to the next round of CBC Music's "Spotlight" competition.

Anna-Marie Rytter (from Neudorf)

Anna-Marie has always had a passion for music. Influenced by Michelle Branch, Kelly Clarkson and Alanis Morissette, her music style is pop-rock based. Anna-Marie is currently working on writing and recording her debut EP.

Ellen Froese (from Regina)

Hailing from a farm in Saskatchewan, folk singer Ellen Froese is swiftly making her presence known in the Canadian music scene. The last couple years have brought main stage slots at festivals like Regina Folk Fest, and tours through Germany with DevilDuck Records. Her album 'Fightin' Words' came out in November 2019.

Ava Wild (from Regina)

What is your kind of party? For Ava Wild, it is around a tea pot, dancing with a room full of hullabaloo. In her red shoe attitude and a honey sweet voice, she’s swingin’ with reckless perfection. Thanks to her song “White Toothed Bastard”, Ava Wild won SOCAN's "Young Songwriter of the Year" award, got sponsored by PrimaDonna Lingerie, Blundstone Shoes, and has toured festivals and venues across Canada and the UK.

Lyn Besse McGinnis (from Saskatoon)

A Saskatchewan blue sky singer/songwriter with a guitar & a suitcase full of original songs! Think love child of Gordon Lightfoot & Buffy Sainte-Marie! From kitchen party sing-alongs to soulful ballads, Lyn’s melodies are wrapped around a good story & served up with distinctive vocals with a little sass on the side.

Ivy Ling (from Weyburn)

Ivy Ling has been creating since she could hold a pencil. This 14-year-old self-taught ukulele-playing singer/songwriter has been writing songs since she was 12 and has dabbled with recording and mixing in her home studio in Weyburn. She has a large repertoire of original songs that range from folk to rhythm and blues. Her unique, calming voice, with its lower range and controlled "voice cracks," sets her apart from other artists her age.
